Description / Special Requirements Procedure room where Cardiac Catheter procedures and electrophysiology studies are undertaken in a controlled environment. A Control room will be located adjacent and may serve more than one procedure room. A clinical scrub area should be located immediately adjacent to the room staff entry. Acoustics: Acoustic privacy is required Cardiac Protected Electrical Area Additional Design Considerations: - Radiation shielding as advised by Radiation Consultant - Unistrut Ceiling able to carry moving loads may be required - Cable ducts from Control Room and Computer/Equipment room may be required - 'X-Ray in Use' lights are required outside each entry door - Power to Angiography equipment should be on emergency supply
