An Ensuite - Super is for a patient to wash, shave, groom themselves, shower and use the toilet, either independently or with assistance. The Ensuite - Super is associated with the 1 Bed Room - Special; the additional area and layout will facilitate two assisting nurses, patient lifter and wheelchair access.
The Ensuite - Super may vary in configuration to suit different patient types or room types including:
- ENS-SP-A Ensuite Super, Inboard
- ENS-SP-B Ensuite Super, Stand alone
The actual choice of Ensuite will depend on the patient type, the Operational Policy and floor layout of the facility.
Acoustics: Sound attenuation level - High. Acoustic privacy required.

Additional Design Requirements:
- The shower floor must not have a raised hob
- The entrance is to be flush with the adjoining flooring
- The door is to be fitted with escape hardware
