Description / Special Requirements The Formula Room provides space for the preparation, storage and distribution of baby formula feeds, generally pre-prepared. Human milk may also be stored in this area. The Formula Room may be located adjacent to a Nursery or Feeding Room. The room will provide facilities for washing and storage of baby bottles, teats and equipment, preparation of packaged baby formulas, refrigerated storage of baby feeds and demonstration of formula preparation to mothers. The room will include a handwashing basin. The wall and floor finishes used in this room must be smooth, non absorbent and easily cleaned.
