The Reporting Station is a decentralised bay located between bedrooms with direct observation into the rooms. It provides a clinical write-up bench for use by members of the patient care team in clinical patient areas. In this space the User may review and write-up patient records, enter patient data on computer and make telephone calls all while being able to observe the patient.
The Clinical Write-up space must not impede the corridor.
Special Design Considerations:
- The workstation design must comply with any local authority standards
for screen based workstation/ desk furniture
- The workstation should be coordinated with the ICT (Information &
Communications Technology) system design and equipment
selections for each project
- Where possible, PC CPU's should be suspended under benchtops
