Description / Special Requirements General X-ray is a room for undertaking general radiographic procedures, which may be located within the Imaging Unit or within an emergency care area. Additional Design Requirements: - Radiation sheilding to walls and glazing as advised by Radiation Consultant - Metal channel struts may be required to the ceiling, depending on equipment to be installed - Cable ducting between the X-ray table, vertical bucky and control area may be required, depending on equipment type and layout - 'X-ray in Use' warning lights will be required outside each entry door - Equipment and services required are to be installed to manufacturer's specifications Body Protected electrical area
