Description / Special Requirements A multipurpose room for staff meetings, treatment planning meetings, teaching and training activities. The room may be located in close proximity to a Beverage Bay as required. An external outlook is desirable. Each unit should have access to a meeting room to support conference and interview functions and rooms may be shared between units. Acoustics: Sound attenuation level - high; Acoustic privacy essential. Additional Design Considerations: - A second egress door may be required for staff safety and security. If this door swings out into a corridor, an alcove that is deeper than the width of the door must be provided. - Additional acoustic treatment may be required if audio visual or video conferencing equipment with amplified sound is to be used
