Description / Special Requirements The Operating Room - Robotic provides an aseptic environment in which to carry out surgical procedures under local, regional or general anaesthetic. The Robotic OR will include robotic surgical equipment. Cardiac Protected electrical area Special Air Conditioning - HEPA filtration Additional Design Considerations: - Minimum critical dimension 6000mm on at least 1 side. - 'Laser In Use' warning lights may be required outside all exit doors to room if laser equipment is to be used - Lead shielding will be required; to be assessed by Radiation Consultant - External windows are desirable - double glazed with integral Venetian blinds - Provide isolated power supply individually to each large Operating Room, together with its associated line isolation and overload monitors
