| Description / Special Requirements | Screening Room (Fluoroscopy) is a room for undertaking radiographic procedures involving contrast media. Patient Change, Toilets and Shower should be lcoated in close proximity. The room may include a preparation area with sink. Additional Design Requirements: - Radiation sheilding to walls and glazing as advised by Radiation Consultant - Unistrut type ceiling may be required, depending on equipment to be installed - Cable ducting between the X-ray table, vertical bucky and control area may be required, depending on equipment type and layout - 'X-ray in Use' warning lights will be required outside each entry door Body Protected electrical area |
