| Description / Special Requirements | An open storage bay for one or more items of mobile equipment in frequent use which may include mobile X-ray equipment, wheelchairs, mobile scales, commode chairs, patient lifting devices, or other mobile equipment. Special Design Requirements: The Bay should be deep enough to ensure equipment stored does not impede corridor circulation; bay depth 800 -1200mm depending on equiption to be stored. Electrical equipment that requires recharging may be stored in this space whilst recharging, therefore provision of appropriately located power outlets will be required. |
