| Description / Special Requirements | A multipurpose room for interviews, consultation, staff meetings, teaching and training activities. This room may also function as a distressed relatives room for grieving relatives, and provide space for a bed. The room may be located in close proximity to a Beverage Bay as required. An external outlook is desirable. Each unit should have access to a Meeting Room to support conference and interview functions and rooms may be shared between units. Acoustics: Sound attenuation level - high; Acoustic privacy essential. Additional Design Considerations: - A second egress door may be required for staff safety and security. If this door swings out into a corridor, an alcove that is deeper than the width of the door must be provided. |
