| Description / Special Requirements | The Decontamination Shower is provided to shower patients who arrive in the Unit contaminated with toxic and/or infectious substances. The room will include a flexible water hose, floor drain and contaminated water trap. The shower should be accessible from the ambulance bay (external) without entering any other part of the Unit. A Personal Protective Equipment Bay may be located in close proximity. |
