| Description / Special Requirements | A 1 Bed Room will accommodate one patient for the delivery of nursing and medical care and treatment. The room layout must permit movement of equipment around the bedspace. The room should include an Ensuite and a staff handwashing basin. Natural light and outlook is essential; patients should be able to view out of the window from either the chair or bed. Windows and glazing materials and window size must comply with applicable local Standards and Guidelines. The 1 Bed Room may also be used as an Isolation Room - Class S (Standard Pressure). Door glazing and an internal window is recommended with this option. The 1 Bed Room may vary in configuration to suit different Ensuite options including: - 1br-st-18a-i Inboard Ensuite - 1br-st-18b-i Outboard Ensuite Acoustics: Acoustic privacy required Body Protected Electrical Area |
