Description / Special Requirements A single room for neonates requiring Intensive Care nursing and medical treatment. Sliding glazed doors on the entry side. The Room will include provisions for charting and storage. A staff handwash basin (Type A) should be provided within each Room. An external outlook is required. Acoustics: Sound attenuation level - high; Acoustic privacy is required to perimeter walls Cardiac Protected electrical area/ IPS - Isolated Power Supply Special requirements: - Lighting should be controllable with blackout facilities - Sound levels should be controllable and less than 40db, including air-conditioning, telephones, alarms, paging systems & basin taps - power should be supplied from 2 separate isolated power supplies
